These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Business Armour website, research content, newsletters, community channels, reports, educational materials and any other products or services provided by Business Armour (“Business Armour”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By accessing our website, purchasing a product or subscription, or using any Business Armour service, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Business Armour
Business Armour is an investment research and financial-markets education service.
We analyse financial markets, companies, sectors, catalysts, capital flows and market developments with the aim of identifying and discussing emerging investment opportunities.
Our services may include market research, company analysis, investment ideas, market commentary, educational material, newsletters, reports, watchlists, community discussions and other related content.
2. Not Financial Advice
Business Armour provides research, analysis, commentary and educational information only.
Nothing published or communicated by Business Armour constitutes personalised financial, investment, legal, tax or other professional advice.
We will not tell you to buy, sell or hold a particular security. Stocks, securities, sectors or investment themes discussed by Business Armour reflect our own research, analysis and opinions and should not be interpreted as buy or sell signals.
Any investment ideas or securities discussed should be treated as a starting point for your own independent research and due diligence.
You are solely responsible for determining whether an investment is appropriate for your circumstances and risk tolerance. Where necessary, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified and authorised professional.
3. Investment Risk
Investing involves risk.
The value of investments can rise or fall, and you may lose some or all of the capital you invest.
Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
Forecasts, estimates, price targets, scenarios, models and forward-looking statements are inherently uncertain and may not materialise.
Business Armour does not guarantee the performance of any investment, portfolio, strategy, security or market discussed through our services.
4. Research and Information
We aim to provide research that is accurate, useful and based on information we consider reliable.
However, financial markets move quickly and information can become outdated. Data may also originate from third-party sources over which Business Armour has no control.
We therefore do not warrant that all information will at all times be complete, accurate, current or free from error.
Research represents our assessment based on the information available at the time it is produced and may change without notice as new information becomes available.
We are under no obligation to update previously published research unless we choose to do so.
5. Independent Decision-Making
Business Armour is an investment research community, not a trading signals service.
Membership or access to Business Armour should not replace your own judgement.
You should not purchase or sell an investment simply because it has been mentioned, analysed or discussed by Business Armour or another member of the community.
All investment decisions remain entirely your responsibility.
6. Positions and Conflicts of Interest
Business Armour, its owners, contributors or persons associated with the service may hold, purchase or sell securities that are discussed in our research.
Where appropriate, we may disclose material interests or conflicts that could reasonably be relevant to the research being presented.
The existence of a discussion, report, watchlist entry or investment thesis should never be interpreted as an indication that Business Armour or any associated person intends to buy, hold or sell the relevant security.
7. Membership and Paid Services
Certain Business Armour content and services may require payment or an active subscription.
The applicable price, billing frequency and features included with a product or membership will be displayed before purchase.
Where you purchase a recurring subscription, you authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the subscription fee at the stated billing interval until the subscription is cancelled.
You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.
We may change subscription prices or membership features from time to time. Where a change affects an existing recurring subscription, we will provide any notice required by applicable law before that change takes effect.
8. Cancellation and Consumer Rights
You may cancel a recurring subscription in accordance with the cancellation process made available through the relevant payment or membership platform.
Cancellation normally prevents future renewal charges and does not automatically entitle you to a refund for a period of service that has already been supplied.
Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation, refund or other consumer rights that you are entitled to under applicable UK law.
Where digital content or digital services are supplied immediately following purchase, additional rules concerning cancellation rights may apply. Where legally required, we may ask you to expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge any effect this has on your cancellation rights.
9. Refunds
Except where required by law or expressly stated at the point of purchase, payments for services already supplied are generally non-refundable.
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or are legally entitled to a refund, you should contact Business Armour using the contact information provided on our website.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
10. Community Conduct
Where membership includes access to a Discord server, discussion group or other community, members must behave responsibly.
You must not use Business Armour community services to:
- harass, threaten or abuse other members;
- impersonate another person;
- distribute spam or unsolicited advertising;
- deliberately distribute false or misleading information;
- manipulate or attempt to manipulate securities or other markets;
- promote unlawful activity;
- distribute malware or harmful material;
- share another member’s private information without permission; or
- redistribute protected Business Armour content without authorisation.
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend or terminate community access where these rules are materially breached.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Business Armour owns or licenses the intellectual property rights in its original research, reports, graphics, written commentary, educational materials, newsletters, databases, branding and other proprietary content.
Purchasing a membership or product grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access that content for your own use.
You may not, without prior written permission, reproduce, republish, sell, license, distribute, scrape, systematically extract or commercially exploit Business Armour content.
You must not share paid research, reports or membership-only material with non-members or make your account available to another person.
12. Third-Party Content and Services
Business Armour may reference or link to third-party websites, data providers, brokers, social-media platforms, research providers or other external services.
We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, content or practices.
A reference or link to a third party does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
13. Availability of the Service
We aim to maintain reliable access to Business Armour but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may modify, replace or discontinue individual features where reasonably necessary.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Subject to those protections, Business Armour is not responsible for investment losses arising from decisions you make based on information, opinions or research obtained through the service.
You remain responsible for independently evaluating any investment decision.
To the extent permitted by law, Business Armour will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where a member materially breaches these Terms, abuses the service, unlawfully redistributes protected content, engages in fraudulent activity or creates a material risk to Business Armour or its members.
Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may provide notice before taking such action.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
16. Privacy
Personal information collected through Business Armour will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
Our Privacy Policy should be read alongside these Terms.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.
The latest version will be made available on our website together with its effective or last-updated date.
Where a material change affects an existing paid service, we will provide notice where required by law.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory legal protections available to you in the part of the United Kingdom or other jurisdiction in which you ordinarily reside, where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, your membership, billing or Business Armour services, please contact us using the contact details provided on the Business Armour website.
